Book your shark hunt today! Every Saturday in October is Shark Saturday. We anticipate seeing some monsters brought in, reminiscent of the 638 pounder in 2007. The largest shark every Saturday wins a cash prize. Come join the fun! - AJS “GROUPER GRAB”

Bring your child 12 and under to the Okaloosa Island Pier for a fun-filled morning of fishing on the pier. The round-up begins at 9:00 am and ends with lunch on the dock at noon. The cost is $10.00 per child and includes pier fee for the angler and his/her parents, a tee-shirt, bait, a rod and reel to keep and lunch.

This annual meeting is open to all members of the Rodeo. Dress is casual and hors d’ oeuvres are free. A.J.’s Seafood and Oyster Bar. This is a Members Only event. Membership fees must be paid prior to the meeting.

Miss Destin Pageant
The pageant is not a beauty contest, the young lady who receives the title of Miss Destin is judged on her personality, school and community involvement, communication skills and grade point average. She serves as a public figure throughout the year, representing Destin at many functions, including the annual Destin Fishing Rodeo.
- High-school girls between the ages of 16 and 19
- $2,000 cash scholarship
- Additional scholarship moneys are awarded the 1st and 2nd runners-up
- Fun-filled social events planned
